The Call of the Lord
The Lord's call comes in countless ways. If we are prepared to heed the call, we will be given opportunities to grow, to serve, and to receive His joy.
“Serve the Lord with Gladness” (Psalm 100:2)
The world's beauty is a gift to us just as everything else is. To repay Him for His goodness, we should serve Him.
Make God and His Kingdom the Center of Your Life
As we increasingly love God and His kingdom and make them our primary focus, we will find that all of the "compartments" of our lives are blessed.
“I Say unto You, Be One”
The Lord admonishes us to be one. This unity is seen in the councils of the Church as well as the blending of scholarship and faith at BYU.
Called of God by Prophecy
Whether you are in a position to extend a calling or to receive one, you must gain a testimony that we are called of God by prophecy and revelation.
Prepare Yourself to Serve
The call to serve the Lord may come in small, large, or unexpected ways. Prepare yourself now to answer the call however it comes.
Follow the Brethren
Our willingness to follow the Brethren, the called local and general leaders of the Church, is a show of our humility and obedience to God.
Creative Leadership in a Changing World
When doing the Lord's work, failure is not an option. Creative leadership in our callings can help us discern the needs and talents of those we serve.
