Christmas

As members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we recognize Jesus Christ as our Savior and Redeemer. At Christmas time, we commemorate the birth of Christ and honor His divine sonship. We also focus on telling the Nativity story, sharing the unique circumstances of His birth and the prophesies foretelling the event.

The Christmas season provides us with a sacred opportunity to remember and respond to the blessings and opportunities available to us because of the birth, life, Atonement, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. It invites us to be more generous and loving to those around us and to focus on the things that matter most.

For decades, prophets and great leaders have shared Christmas messages at BYU. The talks in this collection focus on Christ and emphasize the concepts of love, faith, and generosity within the context of the Christmas season. It is our sincere hope that these messages will enlighten and bless you as you study and observe the Christmas holiday.
