Steven M. Glover is the K. Fred Skousen Professor and an associate dean of the Marriott School of Management, having formerly served as the director of the School of Accountancy at BYU.
Steve served as a full-time missionary in the Spanish-speaking California Ventura Mission and earned his PhD from the University of Washington. Prior to his graduate studies he worked as a senior accountant for KPMG in Seattle.
Steve has authored several books and published articles in many leading academic and practice journals. He has been the recipient of the Marriott School’s Teaching Excellence and Outstanding Researcher awards. Steve coauthored a monograph on elevating professional judgment that was recently recognized by the American Accounting Association as the published work that has had the most impact on the practice of professional accounting in the prior five years.
He has held various Church callings, including Primary teacher, elders quorum president, and high councilor. He is currently serving as the bishop of his home ward in Orem.
Steve and his wife, Tina, are the parents of four children. The family enjoys boating, BYU sports, golf, and travel.
