Sister Kristin M. Yee was sustained Second Counselor in the Relief Society General Presidency for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 2, 2022.
Sister Yee was born in Sacramento, California, and she earned undergraduate degrees in fine arts from both Brigham Young University–Idaho and Brigham Young University. She also received a master of public administration from BYU in 2019.
After graduating, Sister Yee spent thirteen years working as an artist and producer at Disney Interactive Studios. She now serves as a manager of the animation team, overseeing special projects for the Church’s Publishing Services Department. Sister Yee also paints gospel-themed pieces, including portraits of Jesus Christ. Her paintings include And I Partook and Abide with Me ’Tis Eventide.
Throughout her life, Sister Yee has served in many callings, including as a stake Relief Society president, ward Relief Society presidency counselor and teacher, ward Young Women president, Gospel Doctrine instructor, ward missionary, and temple ordinance worker.
