Jo Ann C. Abegglen was an associate professor in the College of Nursing at BYU. For over 25 years, she had the wonderful opportunity to interact with students desirous of learning the Healer’s art. She spent her childhood as a member of a busy Air Force family that moved frequently to very interesting parts of the world. Her undergraduate work was completed at BYU, and she has a master’s degree from the University of Utah and another from BYU.
Sister Abegglen taught community health and global health nursing. She is married to Joseph Abegglen. They are the parents of three children and proud grandparents of two.
