Gary E. Arnoldson was born in Preston, Idaho, but grew up in Moroni, Utah. Gary has served his country for more than nine years in the military. He earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Utah State University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
He started his professional career working for Utah Power and Light, and then switched to public accounting in Vernal, Utah, for three years. He was then the controller for Snow College in Ephraim, Utah, for 24 years and is now the controller for the BYU McKay School of Education.
Brother Arnoldson’s favorite calling in the Church has been that of Scoutmaster. Currently he is serving as stake president in the Mount Pleasant Utah North Stake.
He and his wife, Leslie Shelley, are the parents of seven children and have 18 grandchildren.
