Diane Strong-Krause is an associate teaching professor and chair of the Department of Linguistics and English Language. She teaches courses on the introduction to the English language, language testing, methodology in TESOL, and advanced academic English for ESL students.
Dr. Strong-Krause received an undergraduate degree in Spanish teaching and a graduate degree in linguistics with an emphasis on teaching English as a second language from BYU. Later she earned her PhD in instructional psychology and technology with a focus on measurement of language proficiency.
She currently serves as counselor in her ward Relief Society. She enjoys reading, hiking, back-packing, gardening, and spending time with her family. She and her husband, Larry, have four daughters and 12 grandchildren
