Carol Wilkinson joined the BYU faculty in 1995 and has been the Physical Education Teacher Education Program director since 2005. She teaches courses in physical education pedagogy, technology, and professional ethics in the exercise sciences. She has also been a transfer professor in religion since 2002 and teaches Doctrine and Covenants. Her research interests include religious aspects of the body and improving the quality of public school physical education to increase student motivation and activity levels.
She received her bachelor’s degree in physical education and geography from Durham University, England, and master’s and doctoral degrees in physical education from Brigham Young University.
